Concept and creative process
Titles for ‘The Photo Show’, a series for camera enthusiasts, presented by photographers Andy Earl and Lana Wong. The programme tone was set by the cool sophisticated image of cameras presented in this title sequence. Many different cameras were depicted through live action black and white negative images, underscored by a specially created sound design, incorporating the clicking and whirring sounds made by a camera. The sequence was created in a digital edit from layers of images composited together with the programme title, which finally resolved to a positive image of a viewfinder screen on a large format camera as a way into the programme.
