A week of 15-minute News Bulletins of the final week of the war in Europe from the perspective of 1995, presented by Sue Lawley with Hugh Scully, Tim Sebastian, David Sells and Jane Corbin. The titles paid homage to the post-war Television News & Newsreel titles, with their circular sound and video waves emanating from the BBC transmitter at Alexandra Palace. This iconic image was re-interpreted for this contemporary programme in a 3D computer animation of the globe and the BBC mast beaming out its transmission across the ether.
