Concept and creative process
Opening titles for ‘Murder Most Horrid’, a blackly comic anthology series, starring Dawn French as a new character in each episode. The computer-generated title lettering, designed as if engraved on a matt steel plate, was partially illuminated by the random movement of a strong light source. A red version of the programme logo seamlessly tracked the move of the CGI logo, and took over just as the face of Dawn French, lit by a strong torchbeam from beneath her chin, faded in and completed the main title caption.
