Concept and creative process
Opening titles for a festive episode of the series featuring a mixture of sketches and stand-up comedy from Eric Morecambe, Ernie Wise and guests. The decorative titles were drawn and animated on a rostrum camera on film and played into the studio from telecine. The white titles were created from monochrome 35mm slides superimposed from the production gallery.
