Concept and creative process
For the 'Jazz Week' titles, designer Fen Field created a loosely-styled animation of a sax player, based on actual stills footage. She rendered it in a graphic style of animated scribbles on an animated cut-out background, which isolated the saxophonist from the swirling two-tone background and the animated programme logo.
