Concept and creative process
Desmond Lynam invites his guests to unlock the film and video vaults with their personal memories of past television moments. The title sequence consisted of a video effects animation of monochrome thumbnail images of popular BBC TV shows from the Archive, flying through the air and into the lens of an electronic studio camera. The sequence was topped and tailed by the programme title logo.
