Concept and creative process
Titles for a series of documentaries on different topics. The sequence was created by a combination of live action filming and a computer-generated programme logo, in the shape of a door key, engraved with the title of the show ‘Inside Story’. When the hand opens to camera, it reveals a key in its palm that it has been concealing. The key floats up towards camera which passes through the circular hole in the engraved bow of the key, only to discover the same scenario repeating again. The hand opens again to reveal the CGI key, which floats up towards camera again, halting this time centre screen. The key logo forms in white over the hand and key background and the CGI key rotates to complete the final frame.
