Concept and creative process
Titles for ‘Hunters in the Wild’, a series exploring the world of animal hunters such as sharks, tigers, cheetahs and leopards. For the sequence the programme footage of the predatory animals in action was reduced to black and white and superimposed in a digital edit over a background shot of different phases of the sun rising over a horizon. This footage was colourised blood red with a central band of yellow across the image of the rising sun, creating a sufficiently light background for the black sans-serif capitals of the title logo.
