Concept and creative process
The opening titles for a selection of BBC ‘Holiday’ programme destinations from the archives. The designer took a fantasy approach to the subject and shot a stills sequence of a person on a bridge, turning her head to reveal the goggles she is wearing. In post
production these shots were alternated between black and white positive and negative, the goggles became screens for weather images and a colourful butterfly was keyed over the action both inside and outside of the goggles.
