Titles for a drama series about life on the wards of Holby City Hospital, following the highs and lows of the staff and patients. ‘Holby City’ launched in 1999 as a nine-part medical drama spin-off from the long-running series ‘Casualty’. It is now in 2020 notching up its 22nd series of 52 episodes. The title sequence for the opening series comprised some beautifully filmed close-up panning shots of Holby City hospital equipment and working environment which resolved to a logo animating on out of the final whip pan.
