Concept and creative process
The design for the animated programme inserts for this family science series ‘Heavenly Bodies’ was created on a Quantel Paintbox by Margaret Horrocks (Harvey). The programme, billed as ‘a stroll around the solar system with presenter Peter Davison’, was a family science series produced by Hendrick Ball (BBC). The animation and video effects were created by Mike McGee at Framestore on a Quantel Henry.
