Concept and creative process

‘Film Centenary' was created as part of a branding/promotional campaign on BBC2 to celebrate the centenary of the invention of film. The number ‘2’ was modelled to represent a film can and was shot on a 35mm camera in slow motion at 100 frames per second, falling onto a bed of film clips. The final result was captured in camera.
