Concept and creative process
Opening titles for a film review series, hosted by Barry Norman, who went on to present the show every year until 1998. The title sequence depicted the process of movie production from script to screen in a sequence of high contrast mattes and masters of still images filmed using coloured gels in two separate passes on the rostrum camera. The slight misregistration of the images gave an interesting embossed effect.
