The Family Call (1994)

Concept and creative process

Titles for a series to mark the International Year of the Family in which Nick Ross looks at the new role of men in modern families. Pre-selected viewers are invited to join in a live debate by having high-capacity telephone lines that can carry video images as well as sound installed in their homes. Other viewers can join in via a normal phone-in line. The animated titles show a family confronted by a couple of domestic problem situations that can be solved with help from ‘The Family Call’.
