‘From the Edge' was a programme encouraging the disabled to express themselves through art, sport and creativity. In his title sequence Pete Wane used highly coloured live action of participants, montaged in a digital edit over a fragmented moving background of black and white footage, textures and typography and created a mood of unsentimentality, fun, equality and participation.
