Opening titles for an episode of ‘Dead of Night’. The titles were a generic sequence to preface an anthology of different plays on the theme of the supernatural, which ran for one series only in Autumn 1972. There was only the one title which was completely mute. It cut abruptly out of a sequence of running footsteps, accompanied by howling wind and the sound of crashing through a dark blood red coloured forest, just as it reached a crescendo.
