Danger: Take Two a Day - closing titles (1973)

Concept and creative process

Endcredits for a two-part enquiry in which Christopher Brasher investigated the safety of drugs. The producer agreed it would be nice to do something different for the endcredits (rather than have a standard roller caption). The artwork consisted of brown medicine bottles with labels created from text typed on an old typewriter with letraset lines added to resemble an actual label. The bottles were placed in a line and shot stop frame on a 16mm rostrum camera, so that the sequence could be inserted directly into the programme edit.
