Concept and creative process
Opening titles for a Christmas Special light entertainment and comedy show, hosted by Michael Parkinson. The enormous advances in digital technology are very evident in the screen and studio presentation of such an event in the new millennium. The tree baubles, Christmas cracker and wrapped presents were filmed live as set-ups and composited and animated in digital post-production over a soft-focus layered background of animated typography and sparkle, all bathed in a warm yellow and orange glow.
