Titles for a series of special editions of 'Blue Peter' on a world voyage of discovery, presented by Konnie Huq and Simon Thomas. ‘Blue Peter Flies the World’ was one of the summer spin-off programmes that aired while the programme was taking its summer break to film further special programmes such as this. The programme was an edited compilation of Blue Peter’s summer expeditions and as such was a celebration of all the unusual and wonderful trips around the world which the presenters took. The titles involved adapting Kevin Hill’s 1999 titles, taking the CGI Blue Peter ship and morphing it into different forms of travel – such as a seaplane, a car and a submersible and compositing them into foreign landscapes and cities in the sequence.
