Concept and creative process
To reflect the rather sinister side of this children's drama, red sealing wax was dripped onto old parchment to resemble blood, which then morphed into a seal with an animated wolf's head. Hand-drawn calligraphy was used to reveal the title. A motion control camera rig was used on a small set at Aardman Animation for the document, computer animation for the wolf's head seal and calligraphic artwork by Roz Pritchard for the titling.
