Biteback (1994)

Concept and creative process

A monthly "right to reply" show that put BBC programme-makers in the hot seat. The programme created their own montage of programme clips and viewers’ reactions for the opening title. A designer contributed the bridge to the studio audience via a rectangular cut-out of the eyes of the last viewer featured, with the BBC Corporate Logo placed underneath. The logo immediately animates apart, with each letter of BBC taking up a new position in the main title ‘BITEBACK’ as it fades in.
