Bird of Prey (1982)

Concept and creative process

The visual hook for the titles of the first 'Bird of Prey' drama series was a computer game, designed in the style of a 1970s ’Space Invaders’ game. The story revolved around an insignificant office clerk who, by gaining access to computer files, tackles an international banking fraud, involving murderous Italian gangsters and the bureaucracy of the Civil Service. The animation was shot on 35mm.
