Concept and creative process
An ident for the 1991 BBC1 Spring and Summer presentation campaign. Inspired by Busby Berkeley movie choreography, the models' movements were animated stop-frame on the studio floor at Cell Animation and filmed 35mm with a motion control rig. In post-production, also at Cell Animation, the animation was enhanced by the addition of a decorative border surround, representing countries and continents of the world and by animated fishes and water effects.
