Concept and creative process
Based on the concept of Olympic athletes emulating the power of the natural elements, we embarked on a week long shoot in multiple locations throughout Greece. We filmed both our Olympic torchbearer and many clean backplates in these locations. We shot our swimmer at ultra high speed emerging from the sea on beautiful Santorini. In the UK we shot our sprinter, gymnast and discus thrower against green screen and used the talented BBC 3D post production team to composite all the athletes into our stunning locations at super-human scale.
