Concept and creative process
The brief was to create a series of idents for a season of horror films to be shown at Christmas on BBC Choice. Each ident started with a warm Christmas scene, which then turned into a dark, gory scene that might be found in a horror film. The idents were shot at Pirate Island by Martin Godward using a motion control rig. Pirate also made all the props. The idents won a Promax Platinum award for best idents, amongst other awards.
