Concept and creative process
The opening titles for the fourth series of Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie's eccentric sketch show. On a sandy beach, the hand-held camera eavesdrops on the pair - Stephen Fry mid flow, improvising the voiceover for a spoof perfume commercial and Hugh Laurie having a bit of a nervous breakdown. The pack-shot of the pair of them swimming inside the spoof perfume bottle is the dénouement and gives the audience something to laugh about.
