Concept and creative process
Terry Wogan hosts a comedy game show in which contestants find out how gullible they are by judging the authenticity of hoaxes, spoofs and tall stories. The title sequence concentrates on creating the logo for the show ‘You Must Be Joking’ in a jokey manner, stretching the key word and letting it snap back into position again. The logo was formed from animation artwork filmed backlit with coloured gels on the rostrum camera.
