New for 2024/25 academic year, and as part of the London Plan, Ravensbourne is offering our students rooms starting from the affordable rate of £193 per week on a 38 week contract.

If you are a Home student, your household income is £25,000 or under,  and you have applied for the maximum maintenance loan from Student Finance England, you will be eligible to apply for one of the affordable rate rooms. 

If your household income is over £25,000 then you are able to book a room at the rate of £299 per week on 51 week contract.

What next?

1. Students should apply for their tuition fee and maintenance loans via the Student Finance England website - applications are open now. If you require assistance with this process, please contact us at [email protected] 
2. Room allocation: Ravensbourne will contact you via email once the allocation process starts and will keep you updated on progress.
3. The room price/contract length allocated will be dependent on your household income as declared to Student Finance England. Please be sure to apply for the maximum means assessed maintenance loan from Student Finance England via the Gov.uk website and tick the consent to share box with your Higher Education Provider to be considered for one of the affordable rooms.
4. If you are allocated a room, Ravensbourne will contact you via email to advise you that your contact details have been passed to YourTRIBE Student Accommodation.
5. YourTRIBE will contact you with information on how to secure your booking. You will have a period of 72 hours to do this. If you do not complete within this time, the room will be reallocated to the next student on the waitlist.
6. In confirming a booking, you are committing to either a 38 or 51 week contract (depending on circumstances) with YourTRIBE Student Accommodation.
7. If allocated an affordable London Plan Room, you will need to provide a copy of your SFE entitlement summary as soon as your funding is approved by Student Finance England. Please send to [email protected].
