Studio photography

This course will provide an introduction to studio photography skills and techniques. Through a series of interactive practical workshops and demonstrations, you will learn to create high quality studio imagery. You will experiment with multiple studio lighting setups in order to achieve different effects and learn how these can be applied to different genres. You'll also gain expert tuition in the industry-standard software and develop a self-driven project utilising your new skills.

Learning outcomes

On completion of this course, you will have gained the confidence to use your photographic equipment to its full potential, as well as planning and executing  your own projects. You will have developed skills in using studio equipment and the studio itself.  You will have learned lighting effects appropriate for a range of subjects. Addtionally, you will know how to use tethering software to review images immediately and enhance digital images using industry-standard software.
