with Adobe Lightroom
Adobe Lightroom is a professional imaging workflow solution for photographers. For daily workflow, processing and output tasks, Lightroom has become firmly established as the photographer’s software platform of choice. This one day, intensive and practical-based course will provide you with the Lightroom skills to get thoroughly organised and productive with your digital photography.
- Editing and organising your shoot
- Processing and developing your RAW and JPEG files for optimal results
- Creating ‘virtual copies’ of files for different versions and use
- Naming, copyrighting and keyword images for future reference and search
- Creating multiple ‘collections’ of images to match defined criteria
- Cataloguing your image library in an organised and searchable format
- Outputting your files to multiple uses including print, web, slideshow and book
By the end of this course you will have gained the skills to effectively organise and simplify your digital workflow. You will be able to organise, edit, process and output your digital photographs with Lightroom. You will understand the importance and flexibility of non-destructive editing and produce maximum quality, impact and ‘pop’ from your images. You will also be able to export photos from Lightroom to a variety of formats and media.

About the tutor: Celine Marchbank
Celine is a documentary photographer specialising in British-based stories, looking at the small details of everyday life.
She has a BA Honours degree in graphic design, and worked as a designer for a few years before making the move into photography completing an MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at The London College of Communication. Her first major documentary project Tulip, about the last year of her mother's life, was shortlisted for the European Publishers Award, the Deutsche Bank Awards, a Lucie Scholarship, and was a finalist of the International Photography Award Emergentes DST. The project was also exhibited both nationally and internationally.
Based in London, Celine works for commercial and editorial clients and on personal projects. She recently completed the Hereford Photography Festival Commission documenting the River Wye in Hereford, which was ‘Honourably Mentioned’ at the 2013 Magenta Awards.
Her work has been published by clients including The Telegraph Saturday Magazine, The Independent Saturday Magazine, and has been exhibited internationally: Hereford Photography Festival, HotShoe Gallery, The London Festival of Photography, Finnish Museum of Photography, Proud Gallery, The Affordable Art Fair, Encontros Da Imagem Festival Portugal, Arles Photography Festival France.
