Get the skills and knowledge needed to start your career in fashion buying. On this introductory course, you will be guided step-by-step through the buying process, enabling you to make the leap forward into the fast paced world of fashion.
You will learn how to build an innovative and well balanced collection, to review and critique your own work whilst having the opportunity to develop your own independent ideas. This course will help you to think creatively and commercially whilst covering all aspects of what a fashion buyer actually does and the everyday challenges that you will face.

On completion of this course you will have gained valuable insights into the fundamentals of fashion buying. You will have developed the confidence to apply your skills in the workplace. This includes knowing how to formulate your strategy, as well as making the right choices to maximise sales and achieve your targets.

Debra is a commercial/creative former Head of Buying for a national brand with in-depth knowledge of fashion, from volume high street to limited high-end.
Having worked in London, Paris and Istanbul, she has extensive experience in managing the buying process from vision, through production, to shop floor.
As a Buying Director, Debra has an impressive commercial track record, ensuring her brands were well positioned for a long-term sustainable future.
