Intermediate Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
These sessions are a follow up course to Introduction to Adobe Photoshop, InDesign. With this course you will be able to brush up your skills and take them to the next level, learning more tricks and techniques, using different features and being able to improve your overall knowledge of this software.
The three programs will be taught along side each other, maximizing on the crossover between the individual software.
Learners will be guided through the basics of each program, quickly gaining a broad base of skills.
Topics covered will include:
Layer masking - Change colour
Changing and image to day-night
Creating and interacting presentation with hyperlinks
All learners have access to their own laptop and the course is taught at an approachable pace, however you must be comfortable and able to use a computer (i.e know how to use an internet browser, copy and paste etc) and have a basic working working knowledge of the adobe software to build on. (We recommend you attend the Introduction to Adobe Software Course prior to attending this)
Please bring a USB stick to save your files and documents onto and to keep any shared resources. Resources are provided for each topic in digital format.
- Have a further understanding of the adobe software and feel more confident with approaching the programmes and building up further knowledge.
- Be able use a layer mask as alternative to cutting images
- Be able to and edit and manipulate a photograph
- Be create an interactive PDF in Indesign
- Be able create master pages
Basic IT skills (for example being able to use the web browser/internet as well required to commence the course.
YOU NEED TO BE AGED 19+ to study with us
Basic computer skills and a basic understanding and use of adobe software is a mandatory requirement.
We recommend attending Introduction to Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator prior to this course.
