Build a curriculum that stands out!

To build skills in Indesign and use the software for create a professional and well designed CV layout in this 6-hour course.

Learners will be guided through the basics of the program, quickly gaining a broad base of skills.

 Topics covered will include:

  • Page Design
  • Layout
  • Typesetting

All learners will have access to their own laptop or computer and the course is taught at an approachable pace, however you must be comfortable and able to use a computer (i.e know how to use an internet browser, copy and paste etc) and preferable to have a basic working working knowledge of the adobe software to build on (although we will work on templates to make things easier).

Please bring a USB stick  to save your files and documents onto and to keep any shared resources.

This opportunity can be used to enhance your skills in development and preparation towards employment or alternatively as an enjoyable way to engage with new people and new ideas.

Outcome

On completion of the course learners will:

  • Have an basic working understanding of the adobe InDesign
  • Be able to create a multiple page document
  • Be able to create a typographical hierarchy and in CV
  • Be able to export files as PDFS
  • Have an understanding of layout and design

Pre-requisites

Minimum IT skills required to commence the course.

Basic computer skills. Basic computer skills and a basic understanding and use of the adobe software are preferred but not needed as we will work on templates to make things easier. We recommend you go on Introduction to Adobe Software Course prior to attending this.  

No experience required but YOU NEED TO BE AGED 19 + to study with us.
