Disruptive Discussions in
Innovation & Leadership
Are you looking for those essential insights that will inspire you, those you work with and the organisations you do business with?
Then join us for an evening of ‘in conversation with’ – a gathering of creative entrepreneurs, disrupters and thought leaders that will provoke new thinking, new conversations and new opportunities.
Brought together by Ravensbourne’s Masters’ Programme our first Disruptive Discussions in event will hear from two leading pioneers and recently published authors on how to propel businesses, brands and organisations into the world of human centred innovation, personalising the brand experience and meeting the challenges of the on demand instant gratification economy.
Nicole Yershon has recently published her book, Rough Diamond: Turning Disruption into Advantage in Business and Life, which looks at the transformative power of disruption both from the organisational perspective and from an individual practitioner’s experience.
An Amazon bestseller, the book builds upon Nicole’s 10 years as Head of Ogilvy Labs, the dedicated innovation unit of Ogilvy and Mather working with global brands such as Amex, IBM, BP and Selfridges.
Matt Marsh has a background in behavioural sciences & user-centered innovation, and is recognised internationally for his trademarked people-shaped approach to new product and service innovation. Matt is expert at providing innovation teams with the missing customer perspective that helps correctly link new forms of product and service to successful commercialisation.
Matt is Creative Director at Firsthand Experience, a visiting professor at Ravensbourne, a Design Associate within the British Government's Technology Strategy Board, and serves on the Professional Affairs Board of the Institute for Human Factors and Ergonomics. With a wide range of experience in many fields including transportation, healthcare, government, technology and telecommunication sectors, Matt has created award-winning customer centred services, products, software, systems and environments. In addition, Matt is also author of People Shaped: Tales and Tricks of a Human Centred Designer.
