Securing a room booking
Ravensbourne has a small number of discounted rooms available for its students.
To join the Scape Living 2019/20 waiting list for one of these discounted rooms, please complete this online application form.
Please note: being added to the waiting list does not guarantee you a place.
|Register your interest via the online application form (goes live 1 February 2019)|
Allocation process starts and is based on the following criteria:
- If you are allocated a room, Ravensbourne will contact you via email.
- Scape will then contact you with a booking form.
They require a booking deposit of 2 weeks rent to confirm your room and will give you a period of 72 hours to transfer the funds.
If you do not complete within this time, the room will be reallocated to the next student on the waiting list.
In confirming your booking, you are committing to a 51 week contract with Scape.
Important: Please be advised that you will be expected to pay a further 2 weeks rent in August and a refundable damages deposit of £250 upon check-in in September. This is before you receive any maintenance loan payments from Student Finance England (first payment is usually received end of October).
Due to child protection, a majority of student accommodation providers will not accept bookings from students who will be under the age of 18 on the first day of their course.
If you will be under 18 at the start of your contract with Scape, they will not let you book a room.
The exception to this rule, is McMillan who are able to take a limited number of under 18 students.
Another option could be staying with a host family.
