Type of room
Claredale has 59 flats each with 2 – 7 bedrooms arranged over 4 storeys.
Each room has broadband, is centrally heated, fully-furnished with a bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinet, desk, chair and shelving and has lockable doors.
Rooms vary in size with different price bands. Residents are responsible for keeping the communal areas of the flats clean as well as their own rooms. Each flat has shared kitchen, shower and toilet facilities.
Location and surrounding area
Bethnal Green is a diverse and vibrant area of London with everything on its doorstep. The nightlife of Hoxton and Shoreditch is not faraway and neither is the beautiful Victoria Park. Local amenities are plentiful.

Securing a room
The contract is held with Claredale House not Ravensbourne so you will need to book a room through Claredale.
Important: Please be advised that you will be required to pay a refundable £500 deposit. This might be before you receive any maintenance loan payments from Student Finance England (first payment is usually received end of October) so please ensure you have enough funds.
Due to child protection a majority of student accommodation providers will not accept bookings from students who will be under the age of 18 on the first day of their course.
The exception to this rule, is McMillan who are able to take a limited number of under 18 students.
Another option could be staying with a host family.
