Sabine Roth – originally trained as a jewellery designer – has started to combine her knowledge in this specialist field with Textiles and Technology when graduating with an MA from the Textiles and Mixed Media course at the Royal College of Art. In the past, she worked with well known jewellery designers Scott Wilson and Saskia Diez on top of running her own jewellery production line. Most recently, she worked with the innovative London based design consultancy Hirsch&Mann. Her strength and interests lie in combining traditional materials with contemporary techniques and in future-facing production and material making. As part of the Peut-Porter Platform, she develops materials, textiles and artefacts using her skill-set in digital and bespoke manufacturing.
