Mark Tintner comes from a theatrical and live performance background creating work at such venues as the Royal National Theatre, Old Vic Theatre, Sadler's Wells in London and the Public Theatre, New York.
Since diving into moving image, Mark's work has been shown internationally at venues such as the Sydney Opera House and received various accolades, commissions and nominations along the way. Most notably, Mark was honoured by the ‘House of Champagne’ - Perrier-Jouët as a “Protégé in the Creative Field”.
Mark holds a Master of Science in stereoscopic 3D, creating new S3D technology and content as a researcher, producer, writer and director.
Mark's S3D work has been exhibited at the Victoria & Albert museum on numerous occasions, his 2D work has received nominations for ‘best short film’ at the Sundance film festival London, shown at Claremont Ferrand and nominated at the London short film festival. Mark has also received a nomination and special commendation for the 'shots new director award’.
Other commissions in both 2D and S3D have been created for the United Nations, The Royal Shakespeare Company, the Institute of Contemporary Art (London), Panasonic UK, Alessi, Philippe Starck, Refuge UK, the Business Of Fashion, the BBC and the on-air broadcast channel Sky 3D.
