John teaches across the Art and Design Foundation and is responsible for the Fashion Promotion pathway.
With over 14 years industry experience, John began his career in fashion as a journalist and launched Pigeons & Peacocks magazine with London College of Fashion. John has contributed as a writer, stylist and creative director for an international roster of publications including The Sunday Times Style, Vice, i-D, Nylon, Paper and Bullett magazine.
He has had his work exhibited globally including a 2011 show curated by photographer Rankin and a 2014 collaboration with the Museum of London. John’s experience in industry is diverse and includes marketing, image consultancy, trend forecasting, curation and creative direction.
Alongside his continuing creative practice John has taught within Further and Higher Education for the past 6 years, and is currently completing an MA in Academic Practice – exploring how to make Creative Arts Education more inclusive.
