This film explores the potential for reversing the uncanny valley* through the interrogation of the world of meaning and its habitants.

The gaze of the uncanny valley is shifted as the film imagines what the real world looks like from the perspective of a simulation.

Futuristic, AI aesthetics are intertwined with occult imagery as the viewer gains a new perspective on their ability to recognise and be recognised. This is done in the quest for challenging the epistemologies of simulation, symbolism and how one relates to them.

*The uncanny valley is a common disquieting feeling people experience when humanoid robots look similar to humans in many ways but yet are not convincingly realistic.
