Nina lectures on the MDes Design Management Innovation course at Ravensbourne and holds a PhD in New Media from the University of the Arts London. A producer and creative director with over 20 years’ experience, she is the founder of Translimits Storytelling. Created to explore the edges of what’s possible when meaningful stories meet engaged audiences, Translimits Storytelling triggers real-world impact through its innovative blend of technology, narrative, co-creation, and participation.
Drawn to spaces and environments that act as “laboratories of experiments,” Nina is the producer of Learn Do Share UK, held at Ravensbourne in 2014. Co-founded in the US by digital pioneer Lance Weiler and based at Columbia University, Learn Do Share is a global initiative that brings together practitioners across disciplines to explore storytelling, design thinking, and social innovation in the 21st century. She is co-producing Sherlock Holmes and The Internet of Things, a Columbia University Digital Storytelling Lab prototype, together with Weiler and the global Learn Do Share team. Nina is currently exploring Design Thinking, Design Fiction, and the wonderful social innovations which are beginning to transform our societies into more sustainable Future Cities.
