Angie has tutorial responsibilities as part of the Graphics Pathway team. This involves setting projects, managing group critiques, tutorial groups, and studio teaching one to one. She also has responsibility for overseeing student application through UCAS and preparation of portfolios for progression interviews.
Angie delivers contextual lectures on Art and Design at FE and BA level, and as a Dissertation Supervisor is part of the marking team. She is also a Life Drawing tutor.
Angie is involved in mentoring degree students, through the ‘Mapping Territories’ project led by the nationwide UCADIA Widening Participation Programme, exhibited at Ravensbourne.
Angie’s own practice is research based and currently working across discipline with sound to explore correlations with drawing. Collaboration is an area not participated in before; it is expected to challenge both practices, questioning how initial responses come into being and take shape in anticipation of each other. Angie has worked using a number of strategies, which have been regularly exhibited in galleries, public spaces, as murals, as residencies at schools, as well as through publication and commission.
