Ana has eight years experience lecturing art & design subjects on a range of courses including the UAL Foundation Diploma (Graphics Pathway), UAL Diploma, BTEC Diploma and Extended Diploma, A-level and adult education courses.
Ana’s teaching experience also embraces a series of artist workshops at Museums and Galleries and book arts workshops, which Ana sets up and runs independently. At Ravensbourne Ana started lecturing on the UAL Foundation Diploma Graphics pathway in 2008. In 2012 Ana has become the pathways leader on the Pre Foundation Diploma course and has since been successfully supporting 16-18 years old students progressing and achieving in an HE environment. Additionally, Ana is an External Moderator for the UAL Awarding Body level 3 art & design courses.
Ana is a visual artist and has worked over the past eleven years across multiple disciplines encompassing drawing, video, photography, installation, bookmaking, sculpture and most recently performance. Ana is also a co-founder of wotadot, a self-publishing collaborative project and her work has been exhibited in the UK and abroad including the ICA, St. Brides Library, Rhode Island School of Design in the USA and the National Print Museum in Ireland. Since 2010, Ana has been training in movement and devising her own choreographic/ performance work and she is currently studying on an MA in Performance Making where she is developing her visual art practice in relation to the moving body.
