Alex Phillips is a real estate development professional with 17 years of UK and international experience.
He is currently Director of Masterplanning at Grosvenor where he is responsible for identifying long-term development opportunities on Grosvenor’s London estate in Mayfair and Belgravia.
He brings to the team his expertise and experience in the development, design and delivery of complex, multi-stakeholder, mixed-use projects including the redevelopment of the Millennium Dome into The O2.
Prior to joining Grosvenor, Alex worked with Cathedral Group (now U+I) where he led the delivery of public-private-partnership projects in London including the award-winning Clapham Library.
Alex is a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and he holds degrees from the University of Bath, Oxford Brookes University and Virginia Tech. He began his career working as an architect with RTKL in the UK and USA and also Allies and Morrison. He is a member of the Monopoly Network, The Academy of Urbanism and is interim steering group committee chair for the Victoria Business Improvement District.
