Mostafa Nagy BA (Hons), MA


Mostafa is an experienced TV Professional who has worked extensively within the broadcast and TV production industry throughout his career.

Mostafa has worked for some of the leading media organisations in the industry including BBC, ITV, SKY, Al-Jazeera, NBC, NHK and MBC ranging in positions from editor, producer to director and senior producer.

In 2005, he joined Al Jazeera Media Network, beginning his time there as a Programs Producer/Director with their English and Arabic channels. Over the course of his 10 years with Al Jazeera Media Network he held different managerial positions including Head of Production with their Children Channel, Head of Programs for the Documentary Channel and eventually their Global Production Operations Manager for programs and documentaries.

His last appointment was with the SKY based award-winning charity MAMA Youth project as their lead technical director and trainer working extensively to train and introduce underrepresented youth into the media industry.

With a Master’s Degree in filmmaking, a production management certificate from NFTS and an award in education and training he lectures on the BA (Hons) Digital TV Production at Ravensbourne University London.
