Graduates work featured in the British Journal of Photography
Work of a Digital Photography graduate, Angelika Wierzbicka, is featured in the August edition of the British Journal of Photography.
Angelika was selected as the principal photography graduate to open the article entitled 'Class of 2015'. An experienced young photographer, the alumna has been shooting regularly for some of the UK's leading model agencies such as Storm, Elite and Models 1. With her work now being published regularly, Angelika has made excellent use of her studies and the facilities available at Ravensbourne by dedicating her spare time to developing contacts and an enviable portfolio.
”Ravensbourne has helped me to develop the confidence to approach professional clients and I was encouraged to work in the industry right from the beginning, even if only as an assistant.”

Angelika's work and the accompanying interview exemplify the importance that the BA (Hons) Digital Photography teaching staff give to fostering an early, active engagement with the photographic industry.
“By being given these opportunities graduates find themselves armed with strong business contacts and a clear understanding of how their chosen industry sector operates. This allows for a far smoother transition from education to the workplace,” asserts Julian Hawkins, Senior Lecturer in Digital Photography at Ravensbourne.
