Ravensbourne is a specialist Higher Education Institution offering courses at pre-degree, undergraduate and post-graduate level in Design and Digital Media and is a champion of digital innovation and collaboration with industry.
Ravensbourne attracts students from all over the world to study in an extraordinary new building on the Greenwich Peninsula (next to the O2 arena), where we provide the specialist education, skills and opportunities needed for an outstanding creative career. Our alumni include film-makers Gareth Unwin and Simon Egan (The King's Speech), fashion designers Stella McCartney and Bruce Oldfield, and the musician David Bowie.
We currently have a vacancy on our Audit Committee. The Audit Committee is a sub-committee of the Board of Governors, responsible for overseeing adequate and effective risk management, control and governance, and for the economy, efficiency and effectiveness of the institution’s activities. The Audit Committee usually meets in the afternoon 3 times a year in November, February and June.
We would like to hear from people with substantial senior experience in finance and audit, with a CCAB (Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies) qualification. Candidates must have a strategic outlook, impeccable integrity, high credibility and the time and desire to contribute effectively.
