There is a wealth of information available to you - in print, online and multimedia format - and we will ensure you have all the skills you need to navigate the library's resources independently
Monday to Friday 6am-11pm, Saturday 10am-6pm
As soon as you join the Ravensbourne student/staff community you will be registered with a library account which allows you to borrow books, DVDs and access material samples and online resources.
You will have a library induction and a tour of the space where you will be shown how to find both physical and online resources in the collection. Your course documents and guides include information about the resources relevant to you.
The library also has spaces for collaborative and individual study. It also has a quiet space with sound-proof booths.
While in the library we ask that noise is kept to a minimum, however there is a breakout space directly outside the library where students can socialise and eat lunch.
The level 4 big space just outside the library is a great place to socialize and eat your lunch or dinner. We ask that you only bring lidded drinks and cold snacks into the library, this is to protect the resources and keep the space tidy for studying.
There are a few computers located in the library that you can use to search the collection and print.
All online library resources are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and so you don’t need to be on campus to make the most of the collection. All the information about accessing these resources can be found on the library intranet homepage.
