Schools and Outreach

Information for schools and colleges

We offer a range of activities giving learners of all ages an insight into studying art & design and media related courses at university.

In light of the most recent advice from the UK government for everyone to avoid unnecessary social contact during this time, we have taken the decision to suspend face-to-face outreach activities at Ravensbourne for the time being. We will update this page with further advice when it is available.

If you are a teacher or parent and would like some support during this time with digital resources for your students or children, please get in touch with us via email: outreach@rave.ac.uk

Easter masterclasses

In light of the most recent advice from the UK government surrounding the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, we have taken the decision to cancel our face-to-face Easter Masterclasses this year.

If you were signed up for any of our Easter Masterclasses, we will be in touch to provide you with something you can do from home instead.

We're sorry we couldn't welcome you to Ravensbourne on this occasion, and we look forward to seeing you in the future.

If you have any questions please email outreach@rave.ac.uk

Portfolio and showreel workshop

Our next Portfolio & Showreel Workshop is on Tuesday 18 February. This event is now fully booked.

Please check back here for future Portfolio & Showreel Workshops.

These workshops are an opportunity to find out what you should include in your portfolio/showreel application to Ravensbourne's foundation and undergraduate courses.

There will be a talk about what we look for at interview, what you should and shouldn’t include, how it should be presented, and what you can do to improve your chances of gaining a place.

If you have a portfolio/showreel you can bring this with you; we'll take a look at your work and give you tailored advice on what you should include for the course you are applying for. If you don't yet have a portfolio/showreel, come along and find out how to start one.

Perfect for students applying for course starting in September 2020, or those preparing for 2021.
