How do I register for an open day?

For further education and undergraduate events, simply click on the link under the chosen open day date to reserve your place. Prospective students interested in our postgraduate courses should email postgrad@rave.ac.uk to book an appointment.

Do I need to book a place?

Yes, for further education and undergraduate events we have a limited number of spaces available for each open day so prospective students must pre-register. You can reserve extra tickets for additional visitors if you would like to bring a relative or friend.

For health and safety reasons, we are not able to accommodate anyone who has not pre-registered.

Do I need to bring written confirmation of my booking with me?

No, your registration will be recorded on our system; however, having a ticket will quicken the registration process.

What time do I need to arrive?

Undergraduate events start at 12pm noon and finish at 4pm. Postgraduate events tend to begin at 1:30pm.

Where is Ravensbourne?

Ravensbourne is located by The O2 on the Greenwich Peninsula in the Royal Borough of Greenwich in South London. Our address is:

Greenwich Peninsula
6 Penrose Way
SE10 0EW

How do I get to Ravensbourne?

Ravensbourne is easily reached by the London Underground, bus, Emirates (cable car), and Thames Clipper river boats. The nearest tube and bus stop is North Greenwich and we are a five minute walk away from the station. Click here for transport information and maps.

Do you have car parking facilities?

We are unable to offer onsite parking facilities. However, The O2, which is situated next to Ravensbourne, has paid parking space nearby. Click here for more information about car parking at The O2.

Do you have bicycle storage facilities?

Yes, we have a small number of bicycle racks located directly in front of our building. Please note that bicycles are left at the individual's own risk.

Is there anywhere to get something to eat or drink?

Ravensbourne has its own café on the ground floor of the campus which offers a small selection of snacks and drinks.

In addition, special offers are available to you during open days from the wide range of cafes and restaurants in the nearby Greenwich Peninsula area as well as in The O2. There is also a Tesco Metro close by.

Who can attend?

Prospective students can attend together with their parents or a friend or partner. However, guests may not be able to attend the specific talks due to space. We do have a lounge for guests on level 4 of the campus, and they can also purchase refreshments in the café area on the ground floor.

What can I expect from an open event?

At our undergraduate open days, you will typically listen to subject talks by our academic staff, go on a tour of our building and facilities with some of our students, receive advice on student finance and accommodation, and have guidance on the application process. For postgraduate courses, you will in addition have the opportunity to discuss your individual situation and career prospects with a team member of the course that you are interested in.

We hope this answers any questions you may have. You can contact us by email if you have an additional query at opendays@rave.ac.uk.

Can I visit Ravensbourne at any other time?

Prospective students can join building tours on selected Wednesday afternoons. To view availability and book a tour, click here.
